RELIGION: Teaches children about the Bible as the Word of God, the Holy Trinity, Mary, the Mother of God, Saints and Angels, the Rosary, and other Catholic prayers. The Liturgical Calendar of the Catholic Church is also used as a template through which the faith is taught. |

PRACTICAL LIFE: Teaches the care of one’s self and environment. Activities include: food preparation, sweeping, bean pouring, flower arranging, and more. |

SENSORIAL: The art of learning about children’s surroundings by using the five senses. Examples of activities include: color tiles, tower building, red rods, brown stairs, smelling jars, xylophone, and rough and smooth work.

MATH: Using Mortensen Math children learn basic mathematical skills including counting, adding and subtracting, as well as an introduction to fractions, the clock, and calendar. |

LANGUAGE: Spalding Phonics is used to enhance the Montessori Method by teaching letter sounds, word formation and language, and proper hand-writing skills. A wide variety of literature is read to the children each day to enrich their learning experiences. |

GEOGRAPHY: Teaches children about the solar system, seven continents, various countries, land formation, people and their customs, and more. |

SCIENCE: Introduces children to nature, animals, plants, chemistry, insects, gardening, shells and rocks, and the human body. These are just some of the topics covered. |

ART: Children experiment with finger painting, tempera, stencils, clay, sewing, collages, and more. |

MUSIC: Children learn American folk songs, nursery rhymes, songs with motion, religious songs, as well as rhythm instruments accompanied by guitar. |

OTHER: The “Birthday Book” gives the child the opportunity to show photos from his/her own life from age 0-present. “Show and Tell” is once a week. Field Trips are taken every month.
